The Interfor Corporation requested assistance in resolving erosion and landslide problems affecting timber haulage roads in the valleys above the town of Sechelt, B.C. Mike Harding worked with John McCulloch, a sail bioengineering specialist with Salix, Inc. to develop training for members of the Sechelt Indian tribe, who were contracted by Interfor to utilize native plant materials to treat slope stabilization problems in the upper watershed. |
